Summary	An 1856 panoramic view of the city of Brattleboro, Vermont taken from the vantage point of Mt. Wantastiquet (N.H.) overlooking Island Park and the Connecticut River. Depicts streets, bridges, buildings, and the surrounding hills and countryside. A printed legend under the image identifies the following buildings: Universalist Church; E.A. Stearns, Rule Manufacty.; Esty & Co. Melodeon Wks.; S.&J.H. Gates Furniture Wks.; Hines Newman & Co. Machinest; E.B. Carpenter & Co. Melodeon Wks.; Methodist Church; Lawrence Water Cure; Wesselhalft Water Cure; Baptist Church; Revere House; Brattleboro House; Town Hall; Congregational Church; Unitarian Church; High School; Vermont State Asylum.
