Summary	A political cartoon of the presidential race of 1824 showing the candidates John Quincy Adams, William H. Crawford, Andrew Jackson, and Henry Clay in a foot race. The candidates are cheered on by a crowd. Several people in the crowd make humorous remarks about the candidates reflecting the regional and partisan views in the country. John Adams is in the crowd rooting for his son, John Quincy Adams. The White House is sketched in the right background and a "Presidential Chair" with a purse "$25,000 per Annum" is shown in the center background. Crackfardi was one of the pseudonyms used by the artist David Claypoole Johnston. #2005.34. Some impressions of the print contain the copyright statement: "Entered...Oct. 6, 1824." Weitenkampf, F.
