Summary	Full-length portrait of Washington in uniform standing facing front, head in three-quarter view turned to his right. His right arm is extended and holds a spy glass. His left arm holds what is possibly a handkerchief close to the hilt of his sword. In the background to the left of the figure is part of a cannon behind which a soldier holds a horse which faces front. To the right of the figure in the background are part of a cannon mount and a palm tree. The background is very sketchy. Figure of Washington is after John Trumbull's painting of "Washington at Trenton" now in the Yale University Art Gallery. H-112a. T5c.M74.
