We strive to improve our leisure moments! : the Delmonico Assembly No. 1 will give a grand polka party! : on Thursday even'g, April 25, 1861 at the New Masonic Hall, South Eleventh Street, below Pine Street, the managers beg leave to announce to their friends and the public generally, that they will spare neither pains nor expense on their part to render satisfaction to all who may favor them with their company on this occasion : orchestra under the direction of Prof. John H. Moore : floor and dancing under the direction of Prof. J. Augustus, assisted by Jas. A. Williams and Robert Brown ... : cards of admission 50 cts. per couple, single 25 cents : to be had of the above managers, or at the door on the evening of the party : sufficient police is engaged to preserve order during the evening : N.B.--no hats or caps allowed in the ball room
