Monument to the memory of Commodore Hull : in describing works of art it becomes the duty of every patriotic citizen to be mindful of those which commemorate the public services of a nation's most eminent men ... : Philadelphia, Dec. 23, 1844 : a subscriber having read the notice of the "Monument to the memory of Commodore Hull," in that interesting paper, the "American journal of fine arts," takes the liberty to send to the editor of the work a few items relating to that monument to our lamented patriot.
