Real no. 1., calendar no. 14. (Bill introduced by Mr. Hope, of Lexington.) : the Committee on roads, bridges and ferries, and of public buildings, to whom was referred the bill to alter and amend certain sections of the road law, have considered the same, and report : that amendments proposed embrace the following points: the shortening of the time for warning out hands to perform road duty to the day previous to the one appointed for working ... the second section of the amendments offered, makes a restriction on the powers of the commissioners and their overseers, in taking timber or brush in making and repairing roads : in the Senate, November 28, 1862, read the bill the first time : a bill to alter and amend certain sections of the road law.
